The Boy Who Cried Fire

A child kidnapper is at large in a small town and a boy with a hard home life and abusive father confides in a female friend at school. As they become closer, we reveal she is the target of the serial kidnapper. The kidnapper attemps to kidnap her but it goes wrong leading to her becoming gravely injured. The boy has a spat with his father before running outside in the snow where he finds the girl nearly dead. Its revealed that his tears are able to heal her. He has powers. this is one of many. He saves her life and must hide her recovery so the killer does not return for her. together they solve the crime
